What if our world had tax tales same like we have fairy tales. Imagine if since childhood we heard stories opening with once a upon a time there was a taxpayer… or if people dreamt like ba?a ho kr sbse jyada tax pay karunga in the same way people think about playing, running business, getting the best job and participate in kaun banega crorepati!!
What if taxes were a means to direct benefit entitlement??
Lets try framing a scenario of our expected tax world
Where,
? Fast deposit = FD
(who will pay earliest i.e. as soon as the liability to pay tax occurs will get an FD done with government, receivable with interest at maturity)
? Finance Minister is our financial friend and bought out the best gifts more alluring than santa
? How if people will have an inner urge not to avail deduction and instead pay taxes to avail multi brand store coupons so as to fulfill their day to day requirements or buying something which they were delaying so long for want of funds. like big bazar, lifestyle, metro etc
? How motivating it would be to pay taxes in hope to get a chance to
- See Republic day parade live, being seated at VIP chairs
- A ride with PM
- An acquaintance with our hon’ble president
- A tour of live session at parliament
- City, state or india tour
- Or a chance to meet your fav celebrity
“Dream nation is not a myth its all about initiative”
?? What if kapil sharma will be awarded for paying the highest taxes with his own comedy channel
? Where foregoing your gas subsidy forever was awarded with a chimney, induction, kitchen being made modular or a free gas supply for an year
? Buying eco friendly appliances would have been appraised with reduction in electricity rates
? Children were promoted to save money received from relatives and simultaneous deposit to government account, entitling them to part of interest in form of Pizza, chocolate ,cookies and game zone hampers at regular intervals.
? Studying students were given the best novels,study material, educational trips etc for disclosing stipend in their returns.
“Age old practices are not the true benchmarks but what reincars them is a thought made differently”
? Youth initiating new era of business is complimented with elite club and cafe passes
? Housewife’s for disclosing their accumulated income were appreciated in means of some grams silver/ gold coins or shopping vouchers
? Senior citizens for declaring their pension were given free health club membership
? Following traffic rules for youngsters would mean adding attractive accessory to their vehicle
? Working females were promoted through government aided reasonable and traceable maid. This will solve twin purpose employment to the seeking and security and assistance for the desiring.
? Artificial stocking i.e. hoarding can be vanished from roots by giving lower tax benefits to wholesalers warehouse owners helping in stabilizing or making prices affordable to the public in common.
? Saving in EPF or other government schemes will accumulate cash back points, which can increase the principal addition to fund.
There can be endless routes to change…
