Income Declaration Scheme – on its way to success!!

With the deadline for Income Declaration Scheme being�30th September 2016�approaching soon, many�small businesses and roadside eateries are being�targeted all over India by way of Income Tax Raids based on last 6 months data with the department.

In Mumbai alone, about 50 were raided and the owners asked to declare their black money under IDS.

Also, about 100 raids and surveys were conducted in Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Kolkata was also targeted.

According to a tax official, about 1 lakh possible evaders have been identified by the government.
