Step by step procedure to open an account in ICICI Bank Offline is as  follows-

  1. Visit the nearest branch of ICICI bank. Go to customer relation desk in the bank, the executive will assist you in opening the account. He will give you the form for opening the account.
  2. Read the form carefully and fill it. If you’re an individual applying for the account then the following documents you must carry are
    • Proof of identity – Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving license, Voter’s ID etc.
    • Proof of Address – Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving license, Voter’s ID etc.
    • 2 latest passport size photographs
    • PAN card
    • Form 16 (Only when the PAN is not applicable)
  3. Note, fill all the fields where it is required in order to avoid rejection of the application. In case of facing any issue while filling the form, he/she can contact the executive of the bank for assistance.
  4. Once the form is filled and you are ready with the above-mentioned documents, the bank executive will verify the documents and ensure the name, address, date of birth, signature and so on.
  5. When the verification is completed, the applicant will have to make an initial deposit, depending on the minimum balance.
  6. Once the deposit has been made, the executive of the bank will hand you a bank account passbook along with a debit card if you filled the option in the form with regard to the savings account.

  1. Visit the homepage of ICICI bank, select ‘Apply online’.
  2. Click on Savings account and then select ‘Apply Now’
  3.  Enter the ‘Aadhaar card number’ and indicate that you agree to the following terms and click on Proceed.
  4. Enter the OTP code from UIDAI to which you will be sent to you on Aadhaar registered mobile number. Click on continue.
  5. Verify your name on the screen which is matches with your Aadhaar details. Enter the details in the given fields and click continue.
  6. Give the basic and address details in the given fields and click on next.
  7. Enter the PINCODE of your area, it will assign you the nearest ICICI bank in your area.
  8. Click on continue, the system will direct to Add money, Get account number instantly. Now you can add money through net banking or credit card. Else click on SKIP option.
  9. It will generate your account application ID and branch Code of your bank. You can visit the branch with required KYC documents or banks executive will come to your home for the verification.
  10. Be ready with documents to be submitted along with the minimum required amount that to be deposited in the account. Once the verification is done you will get the account number and passbook along with the credit card.
